Latest Prime appointments areound the world !

Tony Abbott: He has been elected as Prime Minister of Australia. He won a commanding majority in Parliament on 7 September 2013, on a platform to scrap taxes on carbon pollution and iron ore and coal mine profits. After the previous Labour government switched Prime Ministers twice in three years, Conservative party leader Abbott has promised a methodical government with no surprises.

Erna Solberg: Norwegian centre-right leader she has become the new Prime Minister of Norway, after Labour Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg admitted election defeat. Ms Solberg described her win as “a historic election victory for the right-wing parties”.

S. Jaishankar: He has been appointed as India’s Ambassador to USA.

Ashok Kantha: He has been appointed as India’s Ambassador to China.

Ranjan Mathai: He has been appointed as India’s new High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.

Harshvardhan Shringla: He has been appointed as India’s envoy to Thailand.

A.R. Ghanshyam: He has been appointed as India’s envoy to Nigeria.

Thomas Bach: He has been elected as President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), succeeding Belgian Jacques Rogge. He is from Germany.
